Back in 2001/2002 JDS Linux created by Sun was the fastest growing Linux Desktop being used world wide but unfortunately after a couple of successful releases Sun pull the plug on the Linux version and concentrated on OpenSolaris.
GccLinux was the largest opensource community providing over 1500 software packages for JDS Linux, we were also one of a main JDS beta testers for Sun Microsystems.

Now after 6 years we decided to resurrect JDS Linux by Launching this year still the GccLinux Desktop based on the unreleased JDS3.

As soon as we have the main Desktop ready we would like to invite some Linux enthusiasts to Beta test our GccLinux Desktop and get it ready for Deployment.
